1. Read all instructions and directions for tests (especially booklet covers).
2. Be neat on the answer sheet and erase all mistakes clearly.
3. Answer the easy questions first. Most questions have the same point value so answer the easy ones first and then go back and spend time on the more difficult ones.
4. Use your logic to rule out wrong answers.
5. Answer all of the questions if you can. There is no penalty for guessing so you might as well answer as many questions as you can.
6. Take your time and pace yourself. The time allowed is usually sufficient as long as you don't spend much time on any one question.
7. Know your calculator. Simple functions are all that you'll need, just make sure you have practiced using it and feel comfortable with it.
8. Watch for trick questions. If you have just battled your way through a series of difficult questions and this one seems too easy, it probably is. Use your logic to figure out what they really mean.
9. If you finish early, go back and check your work.
10. Get a good night's sleep the night before, and try not to worry (especially after the test is over). Relax and give it your best!
