High School Programs

Lutheran Special School, in partnership with Milwaukee Lutheran High School, offers the following programs to serve special needs students at the high school level.

Transition Education Program - Milwaukee Lutheran High School

A continuation of special education services can be obtained through the Tranistion Ed. Program.  Similar to a resource room, students can attend the program up to four periods a day for science, social studeis, math and English. This program was begun by LSSES and is now operated by Milwaukee Lutheran High School.

School to Work - Milwaukee Lutheran High School

Many students need the skills that will prepare them for work after high school. The School to Work program helps students develop these skills in preparation for entering the work force or enrolling in a technical school.

With the help of grants and the generous support of donors, and working with Milwaukee Lutheran High School, students in this program have the opportunity to participate in Work/Study internships at job sites in the community.
